Ilunga to rejoin Donny

Following a recent injury to their usual left-back Tommy Spurr, Herita Ilunga looks let to rejoin Doncaster Rovers. Ilunga was on loan at Doncaster earlier in the season and the Rovers boss Dean Saunders has confirmed that Herita is training with the Championship outfit with a view of a temporary deal to act as cover for the injured Tommy Spurr.

This could prove to be a beneficial move for all parties as Ilunga is yet to find himself a new club since his contract with the hammers was terminated in January. He has his critics among the West Ham faithful but it would be fair to say that he is more than capable of doing a job for lowly Championship club, no disrespect to Doncaster.

If he shows the sort of form that he did in his early days a hammers player this may even materialise into a permanent deal for the Congo born full back who confirmed that he has been training with League One side Leyton Orient since leaving the hammers to retain his fitness levels. I wish Herita all the best for the future and wish him luck in his hunt for a new club.

COME ON YOU IRONS!
