Half-time score: 1-0. So far so... average?

It's hardly been a sparkling display, but we lead at the break. Is anyone else getting a feeling of deja vu? An early goal Captain Kev in an average performance gives us the lead against Doncaster. Vaz Te has come off injured which would be a major blow if he's out for a while. On the other hand, Baldock has come on and gets a chance to nail down a place in the team which I think he deserves. He's been our best striker when he's played, which isn't exactly hard, he can create chances from nothing and as we saw against Blackpool at the start of the season he has the ability to poach in a Michael Owen-esque fashion.

They've hardly threatened us and if we were to get an early second half goal that will give the players the freedom to go and play their football and also ease the pressure from the fans. Dare I say it, I think we will go on to win comfortably and the last thing we want is to be put under pressure in the latter stages of the game whilst holding onto a 1-0 lead because we know far too well that we have a tendency to crumble in late stages of games at home this season!

Let's get behind the team and see out this win which could take us top should Southampton fail to win against Bansley.

COME ON YOU IRONS!
